I’ve only got so much artwork done for the sentient species in the story, so for now they’re gonna be thrown onto a single page. I’d have more of these done by now but y’know, rent payments.

When throwing together what I wanted the sentient species would look like I wanted to avoid “Rubber forehead prosthetics from Star Trek” type designs. Or some variation of “Humans but they’re painted purple.” Though at the same time I felt that it’d be kinda dumb to go too extreme and have no bipedal species whatsoever.

Depicted here are a few of the species found in Bladehearth, though they have a presence all over the Celestial Throne.

A lot of these are concept sketches and don’t reflect the final designs, but they should give a good idea of what I’m going for. All artwork is done by Shannon and myself.
