Long story short I got sick of trying to set up payment processors (Oh you need an account here, an account here, then enable this, then you gotta do some tax stuff, etc…). On Amazon the KDP nonsense involving offering numerous format options and so on was a ball ache I didn’t want to deal with.

Plus I find saying “I made $13 off my first book” is pretty funny.

Eventually if I get physical copies printed those will cost money because materials, shipping and labor don’t come out of thin air.

For now I’d rather have the work available than spend my time trying to futz with financial weirdness and getting a visit from the IRS because I fumbled a form somewhere. I also don’t want to set up like 3-5 steps and web pages people have to work through just to access the thing, a simple one click option is far better.

Still working on the full wiki but there’s thousands of pages in my notes I have to edit and add to, though it shouldn’t take that long. Maybe I’ll set up some donations page people can drop a dollar into for beer money in case they like the series that much.

Regardless, give the book a shot if you’d like and I hope you find it enjoyable. Or I might end up being the subject of some literature YouTuber with a thumbnail of them face palming with the title “I suffered through this so you don’t have to.” like they just got back from the Battle of Najaf.

Calm down, I’ve done a reading of The Eye of Argon in full on a call with friends, I’m doing quite alright.
