While it’s more evident in her full character design, Claire is centered around the idea of this goofy, girly dork that’s almost the exact opposite of the other primary officers in terms of personality.
Iza is a sleep deprived anger golem.
Nahli is a weightlifting sperg.
Sonny is a self destructive stimulant addict.
Claire is the one person on Glacier’s bridge that would put all of her paperwork into a Lisa Frank folder and is one of the only people Iza and Ye-Jun get anxious around.

Claire also wears a whole lotta trinkets, often its stuff that she got from her travels, or was gifted to her from other people. This can be in the form of various rings in different materials, such as metal, polished wood or bone. Other examples are necklaces, earrings, or charms woven into her hair. These can all be culturally significant to other locations back on the GDS homeworld, or from cultures she's encountered in the Celestial Throne such as Forpik crafted charms, or even Severian iconography.
