With Acris’ design, I wanted to create a character that actively didn’t want anyone to know what they looked like. The most standoffish type thing I could come up with was a huge jacket, a face covering, and long bionic limbs to put distance between them and everyone else. Acris as a character doesn’t want anyone to know who they are beyond their name, what they look like, or where they come from. Instead, the focus should be on their work and what they’ve accomplished.
